The Mexicana Ely 2 panel fire door is a more recent addition to the ever popular Ely range by Deanta Doors. The North American crown cut white oak veneer gives a rustic look and style to the door that would be suited to both a traditional and modern home. 

The two-panel Mexicana Ely oak fire door is available in 5 standard heights and 4 metric all with the regulatory 45mm depth of a fire door. This door can be trimmed by 15mm off each side, top and bottom offering more options to make the door the perfect fit for your home. Manufactured with FSC accredited oak veneer this solid core fire door also comes with a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty, giving you peace of mind that you are buying from the right place. By offering excellent fire protection in the form of an FD30 fire rating, even the most fierce fire will be contained by this oak interior fire door for a minimum of 30 minutes. 

The door has been made to the highest factory standard and has been prefinished during the manufacturing process. Further treatments of hard wax oil would only be necessary if the edges of the door are trimmed. We would recommend that any additional oiling is done prior to hanging the door to comply with the manufacturers warranty. When installing a fire door the manufacturers recommend that you also install a fire door frame with intumescent seal along with whatever else has been recommended by your building inspector.
